Ficus elastica 'Abidjan' 3PP

The Ficus elastica has perfect dark green waxy leaves with subtle red veining, it will instantly add a different texture to a plant collection. This medium rubber plant is popular because it is easy to take care of if the temperature and watering are kept consistent. This plant comes with three plants per pot, creating a luscious bushy feel.

Watering

S/S allow 20% off the top soil to dry out. In A/W allow soil to dry out 50%.

Light requirements

Bright, indirect. Can be susceptible to scorching if placed in direct light. Dislikes draughts during winter.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April - October. 

Repotting

To promote growth and for a healthy plant repot every 2 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with an added drainage medium like perlite.
