Collection: Lycopodiaceae
The Lycopodiaceae, or the club mosses are an ancient family of non-flowering plants. The Lycopodiaceae are small non-woody plants whose growth habit resembles a club surrounded by many small angular leaves. The Lycopodiaceae do not produce seeds, and instead release spores. They are most common in tropical and alpine mountain habitats, but are well distributed across the world with the exception of arid environments.
