Agave filifera 'Atalaya'

Agave filifera form compact, stemless rosettes with pointed leaves that have long, white fibres along their edges. This gives the plant its common name, the thread Agave. Agave filifera ‘Atalaya’ produces leaves thick and compact leaves, with sharp short white fibres marking the margins of each leaf.

Watering

Water when soil is dry 100%. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.

Light requirements

Full sun.

Feed

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March - November.

Repotting

Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
