Alocasia cucullata 4PP
Don’t be fooled by their delicate foliage - these dark green, arrow-leaved Alocasias are easier to look after than some of their kin. Their thick woody trunks enable them to store water, making them fairly drought tolerant.
Watering
In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 70%. Likes humidity.
Light requirements
Bright and indirect.
Feed
Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2 - 4 weeks from April - October..
Repotting
Repot roughly every 1-1.5 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
