Calathea ornata 'Beauty Star'
Calathea ornata 'Beauty Star' has deep green, glossy leaves with deep purple undersides and bright green stripes. Calathea ornata is native to tropical South America, so these prefer to be kept in a warm and humid spot.
Watering
In S/S water when the top surface of the soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 10%. Mist daily.
Light requirements
Bright, indirect.
Feed
Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2-4 weeks from April - October.
Repotting
Repot roughly every 2 years. Use a well draining house plant compost.
