Ceropegia woodii ssp. woodii 'Variegata'

This trailing succulent vine is native to South Africa. Long slender stems can reach 4 metres in length, dotted with distinct fleshy purple heart-shaped leaves. The recognisable leaves of Ceropegia woodii have earned it the common name of 'string of hearts'. This variegated variety has a dreamy pastel pallete, with a silvery-green centre and creamy white margins, all highlighted by pale pink details.

Watering

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% - water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering - depending on temp and light exposure.

Light requirements

Full sun, will tolerant indirect light with less watering.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertiliser 4-6 times from April - September.

Repotting

Young plants can be repotted every year for the first few years, then every 2-3 years to replenish the nutrients within the soil.
