Crassula 'Buddha's Temple'

The intricate architecture of this cultivar is completely mesmerising. Grey-green leaves are stacked tightly, turning upward at their tips, with a pale red tinge sometimes appearing at the edges. Square-shaped columns of Crassula 'Buddha's Temple’ reach only 15cm in height, but as the plant matures it will branch out. This compact and clean-cut design resembles a Chinese temple, commonly known as ‘Buddha's Temple’.

Watering

Water thoroughly and regularly when soil is 100% dry during the spring/summer months. Refrain from watering during the winter months.

Light requirements

Full sun.

Feed

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March - November.

Repotting

This species can live in the same pot for several years. Repotting may only be necessary once every 2-3 years (or longer), once roots begin to protrude out of the drainage holes. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage medium such as perlite, pumice or grit.
