Davallia pentaphylla

Part of the Davallia genus, known as rabbit's foot ferns due their long and hair rhizomes that protrude out of planters, these epiphytes are native to tropical areas in the South West Pacific. Glossy fronds emerge from the distinct fuzzy rhizomes, first appearing with a slightly orange hue before turning deep green.

Watering

Throughout the year allow the top 10-20% of the soil to dry before watering. Mist Regularly.

Light requirements

Bright, indirect.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertilisier between March-September.

Repotting

Repot every 2-3 years using a free-draining houseplant potting mix.
