This tropical epiphyte has cascading stems lined with pointy, fleshy leaves. The most enticing characteristic of Hoya bella are the flowers, which come easily for this particular Hoya. Five thick and waxy petals emerge from the tip of the stem and form a star shape in a deep pink colour, producing a sweet fragrance. 

Watering

Water when 80% of the soil is dry.

Light requirements

Bright but not direct.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April - October.

Repotting

Repot every two years to give the roots more space to grow and to replenish the soil. Use a well draining house plant compost with 30-40% added draining medium like perlite, grit or hydroleca.
