One of the tallest succulent plants to ever reside within our collection, this specimen stands tall at around 4 metres. Barely fitting in, with top branches gently scraping our ceiling, we had to shuffle the heavy trunk and roots within its pot and lean it to the side to help it slot indoors.
Senecio kleinia, also known as Kleinia neriifolia, is deciduous although unusually it sheds its foliage at the start of the warmer months and grows over the autumn and winter months. Originating from the rocky slopes of the Canary Islands, thick and fleshy forked branches form this succulent shrub, with tufts of slender blue-green leaves at the tip of each branch.
