Mammillaria elongata

Endemic to central Mexico, Mammillaria elongata grows elongated cylindrical stems with golden radial spines. Small bell shaped flowers in yellow or pink hues appear in a crown at the top of the stems.

Watering

During S/S water when the soil is 100% dry. Refrain from watering during winter months. 

Light requirements

Full sun.

Repotting

Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.

Feed

Use a cactus fertiliser twice between April - September.
