Mammillaria geminispina
This clustering cactus produces dense masses of spines, variable in size with some so short they appear as a cotton-like covering over the tip of each stem. Clusters of Mammillaria geminispina may form to as wide as 90cm, although some grow entirely solitary. A ring of small bold pink flowers forms just below the growing tip of each srem during the summer months.
Watering
During S/S water when the soil is 100% dry. Refrain from watering during winter months.
Light requirements
Full sun.
Repotting
Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
Feed
Use a cactus fertiliser twice between April - September.
