Maranta leuconeura 'Fiesta'
We can’t get enough of this rare, speckled cultivar. Bright green leaves with pale-brown, feathered blotches along the surface of each leaf, and strokes of lightly yellowed variegation creating stunning unique patterns. The Maranta is photonastic meaning it closes its leaves at night as if praying which gives it its common name ‘Prayer plant’.
Watering
In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.
Light requirements
Bright, indirect.
Feed
Use a houseplant fertiliser every two months from April - October.
Repotting
Repot every 2-3 years when pot is full. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
