Pachycereus (Marginatocereus) marginatus

Hailing from Mexico, the Pachycereus marginatus, or 'Fencepost Cactus' is an upright, unbranching cactus with striking ridges. Given a sunny home, it can grow up to four metres tall and makes a striking addition to any cactus collection.

Watering

Allow the soil to dry out 100% before watering - if soil is very dry soak in water during hotter months. Limit watering in winter months.

Light requirements

Full sun.

Feed

Use a cactus fertiliser once a month between April - October.

Repotting

Repot as needed, once every 2-3 years.
