Pachycereus (Lophocereus) schottii f. major Specimen 40 / 130
One of the plumpest in our collection right now, this specimen is somewhat short but has some rather monumental stems. Large patches of corking have developed all across to allow this chunk to keep itself stable.
Lophocereus schottii f.major is a slow-growing and trunkless cactus. They produce ascending stems, which don’t typically grow in a straight line, with smooth, irregular bumps and spineless areoles. Similar to Lophocereus schottii minor, but with much more pronounced and protruding bumps.

Full sun.

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March - November.
Repotting
This species can live in the same pot for several years. When the roots become too large for its pot, repot into a slightly larger pot. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage medium such as perlite, pumice or grit.
