Philodendron gloriosum

We are beyond excited to share with you the rare and exquisite Philodendron gloriosum. Native to the steamy Colombian rainforest floor where it creeps along on its bendy, agile stems, the wondrous gloriosum is revered for its big, velvety heart shaped green leaves illuminated with white veining. When grown in the home, the stems of this crawling Philodendron will creep along the surface and out of the pot creating a truly architectural form. As a slow grower, it will take its time to produce a new leaf but giving it ideal lighting of bright but indirect will not only speed up new growth, but also nurture those new leaves to grow as big as they possibly can.

Watering

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

Light requirements

Bright, indirect.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertiliser every two months from April - October.

Repotting

Repot every 2-3 years when pot is full. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
