Polaskia chichipe f. cristata
This crested form of Polaskia chichipe will stop you in your tracks. Pale blue-green columns of Polaskia chichipe f. cristata contort themselves into irregular waves all across the surface of this plant, with small spines along the ribs. With lots of sunshine, new growth can appear a vibrant purple.
Watering
In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% - water sparingly. In spring gradually increase watering - depending on temperature and light exposure.
Light requirements
Full sun.
Feed
Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year.
Repotting
Repotting once every 2-3 years to replenish soil. Use a cactus compost with a good mix of perlite.
