Waxy golden yellow leaves of Schefflera arboricola ‘Melanie’ are delicately splashed with deep green. With its compact growth habit and delicate foliage yet easy going nature, this variety of the iconic ‘Umbrella plant’ instantly adds an elegant touch of greenery with none of the fuss.

Watering

In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

Light requirements

Bright, indirect.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April - October.

Repotting

Repot every 1-2 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
