Senecio barbertonicus Specimen 50 / 120

This mature specimen of Senecio barbertonicus has developed a thick woody trunk, with many branches topped by its plump green leaves.

Endemic to south Africa, Senecio barbertonicus can be found growing mainly amongst grassland and under the canopy of the forest. This succulent shrub reaches heights of around 2 metres, densely covered by bright green slender cylindrical leaves, emerging from woody stems.

Water when 100% of the soil has dried out all year round.

Full sun.

Repot every 2-3 years using cactus and succulent compost. 

Use a cactus feed from March - November every other time you water.
