Kleinia neriifolia (Senecio kleinia)

Senecio kleinia, also known as Kleinia neriifolia, is deciduous although unusually it sheds its foliage at the start of the warmer months and grows over the autumn and winter months. Originating from the rocky slopes of the Canary Islands, thick and fleshy forked branches form this succulent shrub, with tufts of slender blue-green leaves at the tip of each branch. Fragrant yellow blooms emerge from branch tips between March to October.
