Senecio vitalis Specimen 40 / 90
Slender stems of this specimen are densely covered by glowing glaucous-green leaves, snaking around each other.
Native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa, Senecio vitals is a succulent shrub able to reach heights of no taller than a metre. Glaucous-green, slender, plump leaves emerge in masses with a waxy white coating, which protects the plant from the harshest sun. As the plant matures, it develops thicker woody stems.
