Senecio rowleyanus

Senecio rowleyanus is a unique succulent with amazing, dangly stems of oval, bead-like leaves giving it its other name ‘string of pearls’. Although a little tricky to grow it is worth a go to see if you can get a wonderful green beaded curtain.

Watering

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% - water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering - depending on temperature and light exposure. 

Light requirements

Full sun.

Repotting

Repot every 2-3 years using cactus and succulent compost. 

Feed

Use a cactus feed from March - November every other time you water.
