Tephrocactus aoracanthus var. peadiophilus
This glorious Tephrocactus is all about the spines. Reaching to possible lengths of 30cm, it can boast the longest spines in the whole genus. Although appearing paper-like and almost flimsy, these randomised spines are sharp and designed to keep all at bay.
Watering

Full sun.
Repotting
Repot every 2-3 years using cacti & succulent compost, with added drainage such as pumice and perlite.
Feed
Use a cactus feed from March - November every other time you water.
