Big, bold and utterly beautiful. This massive Philodendron (Thaumatophyllum) has long arching stems with beautifully shaped broad leaves. This plant demands space but apart from that it is fairly undemanding.

Watering

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. in A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

Light requirements

Bright, indirect.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertiliser every two months from April - October.

Repotting

Repot every 2-3 years or when the pot is full. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
